Sam's Bite/Infection

Last week Sam woke up with a red mark on her cheek. I thought it was a bruise or that she slept weird on something. As the day went on, it got more red and bigger. Nothing makes me panic more than when my child is sick, especially with Nic in a different state. So I took Sam to instacare at 9:30pm. They just told me to give her benadryl because it was a bite. The next morning (2nd picture) her whole cheek was swollen, along with her eye. I took her straight back to instacare. Yes, it was infected. We started antibiotics and 2 other daily meds. She is looking much better after a week, hopefully it will be back to normal soon.

4 months old!

Time is flying! Brooklyn had her 4 month check up. She was 86% in weight, 89% in height, and 99% in head circumference. So she is tall, HEALTHY, and super smart!

Sam continues to love her to death. She is such a wonderful addition to our family.

Dance Preschool

We signed Sam up for this awesome class. It's 2 hours long (once a week) and they do gymnastics, reading time, snack, craft and dance. She is so in love with it. I think it will be a great thing for her.

Brooklyn's Blessing Day

I am attempting to catch up on blogging. I have the internet today so I will try to post a bunch.

We had the opportunity to bless Brooklyn while we were home in Utah for Benj's Homecoming. He was so kind to share his day with her. I have a million pictures of her special day, but only a few on my phone that I am loading here.

Her dress was gorgeous, thank you Mom! She looked like a little angel.

She doesn't look very thrilled in this picture, but Sam really is her favorite person.

Pennsylvania Part 2

In PA its all about the food! We went to the best bakery, hit up our traditional Texas Hot Dogs, Meadows Ice Cream and Boyers Candy Factory. YUMMY!!

We had a wonderful time staying with my Uncle Tim & his family.

We had a blast with lots of family time and a visit to the Penn State Altoona campus.

Matt & Lauren's Wedding (Vacation week 1)

We had the opportunity to travel to Pennsylvania for my little brothers wedding. We were so excited to meet our new sister-in-law Lauren. They had a beautiful wedding and we were so grateful we could be there for it. I will post more pictures and info of our vacation in the next post.
