Big Girl Brooklyn

Our little Brooklyn is growing up so fast...too fast for me. All of these changes are making me cry.

We set up Brooklyn's toddler bed over the weekend. Not only did she not have any problems with the transition, but she loves her new bed. She has slept great for both nap time and bed time and hasn't gotten out of bed.

We start potty training today and she is so excited about her potty and new underwear.

Ants!

Sam is beyond excited to have her first "pet" . She got an ant farm for her Birthday and has anxiously been waiting for the ants to be shipped. They just arrived and the kids are loving watching them.

Samantha's 5th Birthday

We had a full, fun, day yesterday celebrating Sammy's 5th Birthday. She woke up and opened her presents from us.

This shows Sam's personality so well. She let Brooklyn open one of her presents. It touched my heart. I love what a wonderful big sister she is.
Sam rocking out on her new microphone
All dressed and ready to go to Cherry Hill for the day.
We made a quick stop at the gas station to get drinks (one of our favorite things to do)
Then we stopped at our new favorite treat place, Ye Olde Cupcake Shoppe, here in Ogden.
Cherry Hill! She has been planning this for months and months!
Family party with cake, presents, and a pinata
We love you Sammy Jo. I'm glad you had a fun day, you deserve it! You are so special to us.

Gymnastics Round 2

Sam started gymnastics again at the community center. She loves it so much. Brooklyn loves to copy everything she does.

Bird Oasis

My front patio & front windows are my favorite parts about my house. We have set up a little bird oasis and have loved watching all of the different birds come. Most of these pictures are taken as we are sitting right on the patio. It is so neat to watch them up close.

We have seen hummingbirds, house sparrows, house finches, mourning doves, crows, magpies, western scrub jays, and woodpeckers.
