So much fun!!

Nic planned a wonderful birthday for me. I love staying in hotels! We stayed at the Little America on Thursday night and then had a family party on Friday night. Thanks Nic for always making my birthday so special. Here are some pictures of our fun weekend.
We went swimming at the hotel and Sam loved it!
Nothing says spoiled like chocolate cake &  room service!!
Sam appreciated the luxury sleeping arrangements...
We had our family party at the church so there was more room, the kids had a lot of fun!

Happy Valentines Day!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentines Day. I LOVE Valentines Day and anything that has to do with love. A lot of people don't like this holiday and claim that they don't need a designated day to show their love. I couldn't disagree more. I guess we don't need to celebrate Christmas then either because we should remember Christ each day, right? I just love that it's a month surrounded with showing your expressions of love for the people you care about. This year Nic and I went to breakfast at the Little America on Saturday. It was nice to have my in-laws watch Sam so we could have some time alone. We rented a movie at night and had a great day. Nic got me beautiful flowers, a Martha Stewart Cookbook, and a really cute card. I just wanted to tell him and my family how much I love you. Happy Valentines Day!

Sam is 8 months old!

These pictures speak for themselves...but she is into EVERYTHING!
Sam found Nic's wallet for the first time and immediately pulled out the credit card--I didn't teach her that ;)
Aren't these supposed to be baby proof?

Bargain Shopper!

Since we started law school I have been forced into becoming a bargain shopper. I have been working on being very frugal and this change in lifestyle hasn't bothered me as much as I thought it would. I really love shopping for great deals for Sam's clothes. Most of her clothes are from Kid to Kid and D.I. Actually everything that I have bought her has been used, her new clothes come from her aunts and grandparents. Anyway, the D.I. that I go to is in a nice neighborhood and I think that is why they have a great selection of name brand baby clothes (that look brand new). Today I bought Sam a pair of pants, 4 shirts, 2 toys, and I got a skirt for myself all for $20. You gotta love that. If anyone else has great deals or suggestions for saving money, please pass on your wisdom. Thanks!!
