Loving Ogden

I hate blogger...which is why I usually stick with Facebook for updates and posting pictures. Blogger changes the order so the post doesn't make any sense. But we will give it a try for journaling purposes.

 

I am LOVING living in Ogden. South Ogden actually, but its all the same. We moved in to our new house on April 19th. We have had our issues with the house (no water, no heat, flooding, raccoons) but we are loving owning our own home.

 

The pictures..not in order.

We did our first big project and ripped out the ugly bush that was covering the front patio. It makes such a huge difference and drastically improves our view.

 

The new LDS Ogden Temple is getting built 3 miles from our house. We drive by there every Sunday to see the progress. This week they put the Angel Moroni on the top!

 

We found the library and it is awesome. Tons of games in the kids section plus there is a park/playground outside.

Baby Chicks

As if Poppy wasn't already Sam's favorite person...he got her (and Brooklyn) new baby chicks today. She loves them to pieces and has already called him twice to check on them.

Temple Square Photo Shoot

I'm attempting to take pictures to decorate my house with. None of these made the cut, but it was fun to take some pictures with my in-laws nice camera. I will try again and of course post more when I do.

Open The Barn Door

I bought this book for Brooklyn about a month ago at D.I. I just had to document her with it because it is her favorite thing. She will cry until you read it to her. And she will sit there as long as you will read it to her. She is really into animals right now and loves any board books with them, but for some reason this book is her very favorite book/toy.

My life

This is one of those pictures I will cherish forever. I was able to capture a moment that epitomizes my life as a stay at home mom. I love them with all of my heart.

Temple Square

We took advantage of the beautiful spring weather (that came after this mornings rain storm) and walked around Temple Square. It is always beautiful, but spring time there is my favorite.

Brooklyn is only in 1 picture because she was not very happy LOL. Sam was given a picture of Jesus by a missionary and insisted I take her picture with it everywhere...just in case you were wondering what those are.

I can't wait until I have a nice fancy camera to take real pictures at Temple Square, they will be gorgeous and will be all over my house :) For now you can enjoy these from my phone....

Family Weekend

We had such a fun filled weekend with my sisters in town. My niece Abby was baptized and it was a pleasure to share in her weekend of celebrations. She had a horse birthday party that Sam really enjoyed. We loved all of the cousin/ sister time!
