My flower from Sam

Sam picked this flower for me and put it on my nightstand. I wanted to take a picture and document it so I would never forget how much it touched me. She has the sweetest personality and is always doing nice things like this for me. I can't believe she thinks of others so often and she's only 4 yeas old. I'm so blessed to have her as a daughter.

Brooklyn's 2nd Birthday

My phone/camera completely died during the present opening in the morning. It was a bummer way to start the day, especially because I lost everything off of my phone. BUT we had a wonderful day celebrating Brooklyn's 2nd Birthday. Even though she was sick with a cold she was so happy. We still have our big family party tomorrow that we are looking forward to as well.

We started out the day with Brooklyn opening her presents. She then changed in to her pink Birthday dress that she was so excited to wear. We picked up our lunches from our favorite deli Legers. We then headed to Hogle Zoo for the day. I think our favorite part was getting very up close and personal with the Grizzly Bears.

We are so blessed to have Brooklyn in our family. She is such a joy right now with all of the new things she is saying, her very polite manners, and her fun pretending. We love you Brooklyn!
