Well the dreaded 30th Birthday came and went.

We stayed at the Little America on Presidents Day and had so much fun. We got a good deal that included a meal credit, so we did room service! I'm not sure who had more fun...me or Sam. The Little America downtown is so beautiful and I love staying there. We had a blast swimming and hanging out in our pretty room.

As always, tons of pictures...blogger keeps messing up the order so they are all over the place.

Meeting 2 LDS Apostles

We had a very neat experience yesterday. We met Nic on his lunch break at the Joseph Smith Memorial Buidling downtown. After we ate lunch we were walking around showing Sam the beautiful building. Around the corner came 2 Apostles of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It was Elder L. Tom Perry and Elder Quinton L. Cook. I can't describe to you the wonderful feeling we felt when we met them and shook their hands. They were so kind, especially to Samantha. They commented on her pretty outfit and said that she looked all ready for Valentine's Day. After Elder Perry shook Sam's hand he said that was the greatest thing that had happened to him all day. I know that these men are special witnesses of Jesus Christ. I am so grateful that we happened to be in the right place at the right time to meet them. It is an experience we will never forget.
